Dee Norvell Jessop Born January 10th 1937, passed away from natural causes during home hospice on March 2nd, 2025. He was born in Millville, Utah to Ronald Ernest Jessop and Edith Salome Watson and was the middle child of 9 children. He lived to hunt, fish, boat, water and snow ski, and worked for Spudnut making donuts in Logan Utah. Dee moved to Spokane, Washington at age 31 to build his own fast food and donut establishment, where he met and married Linda Ann Wardell in January of 1969. She was the love of his life and they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Logan Temple. Dee and Linda were the parents of seven children, 30 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. When the business in Spokane closed, Dee moved to Kelso, Washington to work for Winchell's Donuts. He retired at the age of 62 and loved to grow gardens, flowers, go fishing, and spend time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He loved attending all the different activities and sporting events his family were involved in. He said he changed more diapers and spent more time with his grandkids than his own. Dee taught everyone around him about Heavenly Father and Our Savior Jesus Christ. He quoted the song, "I am a Child of God," and went on to say, You are a child of God, We are ALL children of God. Dee served in many capacities through out his life in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a true witness of the unconditional love of Christ and talked endlessly of the countless miracles prayer and faith showed him. Dee lived a full life with friends and family, he was a wonderful Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Bishop, Friend and Child of God. Loved by all who knew him, he was a peace maker, and gave generously of his time to serve others.
