Edna Irene Rogers, a beloved member of the Longview community, passed away on July 24, 2024 at the age of 96 in Longview, Washington. She was born on September 5, 1927, in Leoti, Kansas, and has left behind a legacy of love, kindness, and creativity.
In her lifetime, Edna found joy in simple pleasures such as quilting, crocheting, and tending to her beloved roses in her yard. She cherished her time spent at the Senior Center in Longview, where she engaged with the community and formed lasting friendships.
Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Emil Rogers, and her son, Randy Rogers. She is survived by her children: Robert Rogers, Ramona Leber, Rod Rogers, and Rachelle Rogers, all of Longview. Edna also leaves behind a cherished legacy through numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will always remember her warmth and love.
A private family graveside service was held at Longview Memorial Park to honor and remember the life of Edna Irene Rogers. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
In her quiet creativity, Edna touched the lives of many and her presence will be deeply missed. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the beauty of the roses she so adored.
